CD-ROM
The CD-ROM has an incredible power to persuade, with full quality, rich media (video, animations and soundtracks) - and navigation is instantaneous.

Not only can you produce far more impressive presentations to hold a potential client's attention, but their attention is solely dedicated to you, not just one click away from your competitors.

The promotional or training CD-ROM is one of today's most powerful communication tools. It combines audio, animation, graphics and video in a compelling interactive presentation.

BSA Guns
A very different project was completed recently for BSA Guns. It involved two days shooting (film!) in our Bramley studio, and one day at Bisley. An industry expert dismantled a range of guns and shared his knowledge of maintenance, which is to be passed on to distributors worldwide on DVD.

To target BSA's customers, Virtual360 produced a CD-ROM instruction manual which is being distributed with all new guns. This contains a wealth of essential, easy-to-follow information on subjects such as safety, marksmanship techniques, quarry recognition and maintenance and ultimately shows how to get the most from your BSA rifle and your sport.

The disks are available in all good gun shops!

SONY
Sony needed a new approach to launching and marketing their latest television screens to the Press and so our Director, Paul Ashworth, introduced the concept of the 'Digital Press Pack' in 2002, delivering a mix of media on multi-platform CD-ROMs.

The concept was simple - create a single project that provides hot buttons, viewable Press Releases, Technical Data Sheets, Image Library (large & small format) and all copyable to the journalist's Mac or PC for subbing and filing for press deadlines.

Sony were so pleased with the results - increasing Press coverage by 40% - that the approach was used 3 years running, culminating with European launches in 22 languages - all off the same CD-ROM.

Kodak
Our Director, Paul Ashworth, was invited by Kodak back in the autumn of 1999 to conceive and create a special tribute to the forthcoming Millennium celebrations for delivery on the Kodak CD-ROM in the days when customers converted their film prints to CD.

The project was devised to show three main facets of the celebrations - The Dome, The Events and A History of The 20th Century.

With the Dome still in construction, the Events yet to happen and the History of 20th Century all having to be created within 6 weeks and to fit within 40MB, it seemed a tall order - but Kodak received all in time and used the project for promotions over the next 6 months.

Edexcel Diploma
Edexcel has launched the Diploma - a new approach for 14-19 learners designed to provide flexibility and choice, through a unique mix of traditional and work-related learning, developing skills and work-based experience.

We have now produced, directed and designed all Diploma 2008, 2009 and 2010 CD-ROMs, bringing the concept to life with attention grabbing stings, industry specific videos and dynamic content.

Amdipharm
As part of the Waymade Group, Amdipharm is in the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in the UK, and required a website that reflected this.

Virtual360 conceived, designed and developed the new Amdipharm website ensuring that the team are able to communicate globally using a contact management system to support sales and marketing activities.

Following the initial inception of the main web project, there became a requirement for a company Induction pack for new employees. With all the existing materials we had already designed, created and recorded we were able to re-purpose and deliver a digital induction pack on CD-ROM for new and existing employees, to complete a comprehensive communications package.
